Privacy Policy
Effective June 2, 2026
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information Mommy Maverick™ collects when you visit mommy-maverick.com, how that information is used, and what choices you have. It’s written in plain English because you deserve to understand it without a law degree. By using this website or inquiring about services, you agree to the practices described here.
Who We Are
Mommy Maverick™ is a career strategy and advisory service for high-achieving women, founded and operated by Kristyn Tulley. We’re based in New York, United States.
Website: mommy-maverick.com
Privacy Contact: kristyn@themommymaverick.com
What Information We Collect
Information You Give Us Directly
When you interact with Mommy Maverick™, you may provide:
• Your name and email address when you fill out the contact inquiry form on the website
• Your email address when you subscribe to the Unscripted newsletter
• More detailed professional and personal information when you complete a client intake form after booking a service (this form is sent separately after booking confirmation, not collected on the public website)
Payment Information
If you purchase a service, payment is processed through a secure third-party payment processor (currently Stripe or a similar provider). We do not store your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment details on our website or servers. That information goes directly to the payment processor and is subject to their privacy policy.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website, certain information is collected automatically by the platform (WordPress.com) and its tools:
• Your IP address
• Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
• The browser and device type you’re using
• How you arrived at the site (e.g., from a search engine or a link)
This data is collected in aggregate and is used to understand how the site is performing — not to identify you individually.
Cookies
WordPress.com automatically sets functional cookies to keep the website operating properly. These are not advertising cookies, and we do not currently use any tracking pixels or ad network cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to reflect it. Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies in your settings. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing not be tracked. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If our practices change, this policy will be updated accordingly.
How We Use Your Information
Here’s what we actually do with the information we collect:
• Respond to your inquiry if you filled out the contact form
• Send you the Unscripted™ newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Deliver and coordinate the services you’ve purchased, including preparing documents, scheduling sessions, and tailoring advisory support to your situation
• Understand how the website is being used so we can improve it
• Comply with any legal obligations
We do not sell your data. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Who We Share Your Information With
We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to run this business. Here’s who they are and why:
- WordPress.com — This website is hosted on WordPress.com, which manages the infrastructure, security, and basic analytics for the site.
- Jetpack — A WordPress.com tool that provides site analytics and performance data. Information like page views and traffic sources may be processed through Jetpack.
- Payment Processor (Stripe or similar) — Processes payment transactions securely. We share only what’s necessary to complete a transaction.
- Newsletter Platform — Your email address and newsletter subscription status are stored with the platform that manages the Unscripted newsletter. If we change newsletter providers, your data will be migrated to the new platform and this policy will be updated to reflect that.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Mommy Maverick™ or others.
Your Choices and Rights

Access, Correction, and Deletion
You have the right to:
• Ask what personal information we hold about you

To make any of these requests, email us at kristyn@themommymaverick.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and will confirm when we’ve completed your request.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. To do so, your agent will need to provide written proof of your authorization, or demonstrate power of attorney under applicable law. We reserve the right to verify your identity directly before acting on any agent-submitted request. Authorized agents may only use your personal information for the purpose of fulfilling your request — not for any other purpose.
California Residents – Your CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. Here is what you should know:
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.
Your Rights Under the CCPA
As a California resident, you have the right to:

• Delete: Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as when we need it to complete a transaction or comply with a legal obligation)
• Non-Discrimination: We will not treat you differently or deny you services because you exercised your privacy rights
To submit a request, email us at kristyn@themommymaverick.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before we can fulfill your request, as required by California law. We will acknowledge receipt and respond within the timeframes required by the CCPA.
Residents of Other US States
Several US states have enacted consumer privacy laws that may give you additional rights, including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), and others. While Mommy Maverick™ is a small business and may not be subject to all of these laws based on data volume thresholds, we are committed to honoring reasonable privacy requests regardless of your state of residence. If you are a resident of a state with a privacy law and wish to exercise any rights under that law — including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising (neither of which we engage in) — please contact us at [insert your contact email]. We will respond in good faith and in accordance with applicable law. You also have the right to appeal a denial of your privacy rights request. To submit an appeal, contact us at the same email address with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.”

Mommy Maverick™ is a U.S.-based business serving a primarily U.S. audience. If you are visiting from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere, please be aware of the following:
• Your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not have the same data protection laws as your home country.

• Our legal basis for processing your data is generally your consent (for newsletter subscriptions and contact form submissions) or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website and delivering services you have requested. Legitimate interest includes responding to inquiries, preventing fraud, and improving site functionality.
• To exercise any GDPR rights, please contact us at kristyn@themommymaverick.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. The website is hosted on WordPress.com, which maintains industry-standard security practices. Payment data is handled entirely by our payment processor and is never stored on this website. That said, no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet, and we ask that you take reasonable precautions on your end as well. In the event of a data security incident that affects your personal information, we will take prompt action as required by applicable law, which may include notifying affected individuals and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable data breach notification requirements.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as it’s needed to provide services, maintain our business records, or comply with legal obligations. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it unless we are required by law to retain it. Client intake information is retained for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for business record purposes.
Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
