Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 2, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using this website or purchasing any service from Mommy Maverick™. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Mommy Maverick™, operated by Kristyn Tulley (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By submitting a contact form inquiry, booking a service, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or purchase any services.

Services Offered

The Career Edit — $950

A done-for-you career document package that includes a resume rewrite, LinkedIn profile overhaul, cover letter, a live 60-minute mock interview session, and a reference prep guide. One round of revisions is included. Additional revision rounds are available at $75 per round.
Turnaround: 10–12 business days from receipt of a completed intake form.
Payment: Full payment of $950 is due at booking, or two payments of $475 (first at booking, second due before delivery).
Expedited Service: Available for an additional $150 fee, subject to availability. Expedited requests must be confirmed in writing prior to payment.

The Ascent — $1,250 (Founding Rate) / $1,500 (Full Rate)

A four-week leadership coaching program consisting of three 60-minute sessions, email support between sessions, and a set of tangible deliverables including a Leadership Identity Statement, Gaps Assessment, 30-60-90 Day Plan, Situational Playbooks, and Executive Presence Framework.
Payment: Payment terms are discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the engagement.

The Inner Circle — Starting at $3,500 (By Application)

An eight-week executive strategic advisory engagement consisting of bi-weekly 60-minute sessions and direct access between sessions. This service is available by application only. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Mommy Maverick™ reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion.
Payment: Payment terms are discussed and agreed upon prior to the start of the engagement.

À La Carte

Single sessions are available for women who need focused guidance on a specific situation, an honest review of their materials, or a structured thinking session at a career crossroads. Sessions range from $175-$300 depending on focus. À La Carte services stemming from The Career Edit, such as resume rewrite, cover letter, LinkedIn overhaul and mock-interview are available and range from $150 – $350.

Payment

All fees are due in U.S. dollars. Payment is required in full (or according to the agreed payment plan) before work begins or services are delivered, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
For The Career Edit, work will not commence until the first payment has been received and the completed intake form has been submitted. For payment plan clients, the second payment is due before final deliverables are released.
For The Ascent and The Inner Circle, the agreed payment schedule will be confirmed in writing before the engagement begins. Failure to make a scheduled payment may result in a pause or termination of services.
Mommy Maverick™ uses a third-party payment processor to handle all transactions. We do not store your payment information.

Refund Policy

Because our services are highly customized and involve significant time and expertise, refunds are limited. Please review the policy for your specific service before purchasing.

The Career Edit

• If you request a cancellation within 48 hours of purchase and your intake form has not yet been reviewed and writing has not begun, you are entitled to a full refund.
• Once your intake form has been reviewed or writing has begun, no refund will be issued.
• No refunds are available after any deliverable has been provided.

The Ascent and The Inner Circle

• If you request a cancellation more than 48 hours before your first scheduled session and no session has yet taken place, a full refund will be issued minus a $50 administrative fee.
• Cancellations requested less than 48 hours before the first session, or after any session has taken place, are not eligible for a refund.
• No refunds are available after any session or deliverable has been provided.

We understand that circumstances change. If you have a situation not covered above, please reach out directly at kristyn@themommymaverick.com and we will do our best to work with you in good faith.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We ask that you treat scheduled sessions with the same commitment you would any professional appointment.
• Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be treated as a forfeited session. That session will not be refunded or replaced.
• No-shows (failure to attend a session without notice) forfeit that session entirely.
• Mommy Maverick™ reserves the right to reschedule sessions with reasonable advance notice. If we need to reschedule, we will work with you to find a mutually workable time.

Client Responsibilities

Getting the most out of these services requires your active participation. By engaging with Mommy Maverick™, you agree to the following:
• You will complete the intake form honestly, thoroughly, and to the best of your ability. The quality of your deliverables depends directly on the quality of the information you provide.
• You will show up to sessions prepared, engaged, and ready to do the work.
• You will provide feedback on deliverables within 5 business days of receiving them. Delays in feedback may push your project timeline, and Mommy Maverick™ is not responsible for delays caused by a client’s failure to respond in a timely manner.
• You acknowledge that the outcomes of these services depend significantly on your own effort, follow-through, and circumstances — all of which are outside our control.

No Guarantee of Results

Mommy Maverick™ provides career strategy, coaching, and advisory services. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to job placement, a job offer, a promotion, a salary increase, a title change, or any other career result.
Our services are educational and advisory in nature. They are designed to equip you with stronger materials, clearer strategy, and greater self-awareness — but your results will depend on many factors beyond our control, including market conditions, your industry, your employer, and your own actions.
Past client outcomes shared in testimonials or case studies are illustrative only and are not a guarantee that you will experience similar results.

Intellectual Property

We want to be clear about what belongs to you and what belongs to us.

What’s Yours

All custom documents created for you as part of your service — including your resume, LinkedIn content, cover letter, and any other personalized written deliverables — become your property upon receipt of full payment. You are free to use them however you choose.

What’s Ours

All frameworks, templates, methodologies, playbooks, and other proprietary materials created by Mommy Maverick™ — including but not limited to the Leadership Identity Statement framework, Gaps Assessment, Executive Presence Framework, and Situational Playbooks — remain the exclusive intellectual property of Mommy Maverick™.

You may use these materials for your own personal and professional development. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, teach, or share them with others without explicit written permission from Mommy Maverick™.

Confidentiality

What you share with us stays with us. All information you provide during your engagement — whether in your intake form, during sessions, or via email — is treated as strictly confidential. We will not share your personal or professional information with any third party without your explicit consent. In turn, we ask that you treat any proprietary frameworks, materials, or insights shared with you as confidential and not share them with others.
One limited exception: Kristyn Tulley may use anonymized, non-identifiable information (such as general themes or patterns observed across client work) for professional development content, writing, or speaking purposes. No identifying information will ever be used without your explicit written consent.

Testimonials

If you choose to share a testimonial about your experience with Mommy Maverick™ — whether by email, a feedback form, social media, or any other channel — you grant us permission to use that testimonial in our marketing materials, including on our website and social media platforms.

We will never use your full name, employer, title, photo, or any other identifying information in connection with your testimonial without your explicit written consent. We may use first names or initials only unless you’ve given us permission to do otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

Mommy Maverick™ provides services in good faith and to the best of our ability. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you actually paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Mommy Maverick™ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including lost income, lost opportunities, or any career outcome — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we take our work seriously and stand behind the quality of what we deliver, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding specific outcomes, fitness for a particular purpose, or results of any kind.
This website and its content are provided for informational purposes. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information on this site for your particular situation.

Your Representations

By using this website or purchasing any service, you represent and warrant that:
• You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• All information you provide in connection with your inquiry, intake form, or booking is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You are entering into this agreement on your own behalf and not on behalf of another person without their authorization.

Electronic Agreement

All interactions with Mommy Maverick™ — including completing a contact form, submitting an intake form, confirming a booking, or making a payment — constitute electronic communications. You agree that these electronic communications and actions carry the same legal weight as a written, signed agreement.
By taking any of the actions described above, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Mommy Maverick™ and confirming your acceptance of these Terms of Service.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mommy Maverick™, Kristyn Tulley, and any successors or assigns from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or related to:
• Your misrepresentation or omission of material information in your intake form or any other communication with us;
• Your misuse of any deliverables, frameworks, or materials provided as part of your service;
• Your violation of these Terms of Service; or
• Any third-party claim resulting from your conduct in connection with the services provided.

Force Majeure

Mommy Maverick™ will not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver services caused by circumstances genuinely beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, illness or medical emergency, family emergency, natural disaster, widespread technology outages, or other unforeseeable events that make performance impossible or impractical.
In the event of such a circumstance, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and will make good-faith efforts to reschedule or accommodate your engagement. If we are unable to deliver the service entirely, a pro-rated refund for undelivered services will be issued.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If a dispute arises between you and Mommy Maverick™ that cannot be resolved informally, you agree that it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York. We’d always prefer to resolve things directly and in good faith before anyone involves a court — so please reach out first.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with any written booking confirmation or service agreement provided at the time of your engagement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mommy Maverick™ with respect to the subject matter herein. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous conversations, representations, promises, or understandings — whether oral or written — that may have occurred before or during the sales or discovery process. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. When we do, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of this website or purchase of services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically, especially before beginning a new engagement.
